Family OS ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our shared household organizer collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum necessary information to facilitate shared household coordination:

• Account Details: Your name, email address, or mobile phone number used during sign up and sign in.
• Household Obligations: Task titles, due dates, categories (bills, subscriptions, Wi-Fi, school fees, renewals), amounts, and assigned family members.
• Household Documents: Files and receipts that you explicitly choose to upload to your private family vault.
• Payment Links: Publicly available UPI identifiers or web bill payment URLs that you add to responsibilities for easy payment handoff. We do NOT collect or store your UPI PIN, banking passwords, or card numbers.

3. Payments & Third-Party App Deep Linking

When you choose to pay a bill using UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, CRED), the app uses standard NPCI Android Intent deep linking (`upi://pay`) to launch your installed banking/payment application. All financial authentication, PIN entry, and fund transfers take place entirely within your authorized third-party UPI application. We never access, capture, or store your banking credentials.

4. Data Sharing & Row-Level Security

Your data belongs strictly to you and the family members you explicitly invite into your household. We enforce strict database Row-Level Security (RLS) ensuring that:

• No external users or other households can view or access your family obligations.
• We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal data or obligation history to advertisers or third parties.

5. Account Deletion & Data Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act and GDPR), you retain the right to access, export, or delete your account and household data at any time directly through the app settings or by contacting our support team.
